- When University Presses Fail - with a nice comparison of UP's to sports programs
- On a related note: an announcement of the launch of Books at JSTOR, providing online access to the works of university presses, including University of Texas. While I doubt many of these presses are in jeopardy of failure, I wonder if collaborations with such providers as JSTOR might help troubled UPs stay afloat by reducing their costs and expanding their exposure.
